Bio

Raymund C. King, MD, JD is both a physician and an attorney.  After practicing medicine for 10 years as a head and neck surgeon in Oklahoma City, he decided to change careers following a traumatic experience during the Oklahoma City Bombing in 1995.  He obtained a law degree and began practicing law in Texas in 2000.  Through a series of miraculous events, he found himself negotiating contracts between filmmakers and studios in Hollywood – until he lost his eyesight for over 7 months, during which time he discovered his calling to make inspirational films.  Today, he is general counsel for Capernaum Studios in Texas and Kappa Studios in California.  He is also the founder of Mariposa King Studios in New Mexico and Texas.  He began producing films after regaining his eyesight, and has – to date – produced 21 films in the past 8 years.
