"We focus so much on the craft of filmmaking, what about the business of filmmaking? Come join and listen to Ron Newcomb's story on how he does things on the business side of filmmaking. To establishing a company, to when to partner up and how, what does it mean when you begin to take on investments, what can keep you out of hot water, what contracts & releases to use, along with the one thing every contract should have...Ron has completed narrative feature films where he garnered global distribution, he was able to secure a TV deal for his documentary, as well as crowdfunded projects and raises private equity. This is not a legal discussion, but the way one person has been able to do it."
