Clare will be participating in a panel of young filmmakers at lunch on Wednesday
Clare Vining is a 16 year old student filmmaker. She has been directing films for 4 years. Prior to this, Clare had been a pre-professional ballet dancer for 13 years. When she was 15, she felt called to stop dancing and pursue filmmaking full time. She realized that film is an extremely influential tool and felt that God was asking her to bring other people closer to him by making films full of goodness, truth, and beauty. She is one of the founders of JVG Pictures, (a homeschool film group), Fluent Productions (business/event promos), and Vining Sisters Productions (she now directs films with her sister Mary). Together they have received several awards including a nomination for Best Student Film from the International Christian Film Festival, a Selection from Dunedin International Film Festival, a selection from Reel Time International Film Festival, and an Honorable Mention from the Goodness Reigns Film Festival. Clare is a student of Tomorrow's Filmmakers and loves the hard work and excitement that filmmaking offers!
